Harkwire costs $4.99 USD a month for up to five newsletters, $9.99 USD a month for every newsletter you get, or $39.99 USD a month for Pro. Every plan turns your newsletters into one short daily podcast in your own podcast app, and every plan starts with a seven-day free trial.

Starter: $4.99 USD a month
Starter covers up to five newsletters. Each morning two AI hosts read everything those newsletters sent overnight, keep what matters and talk it through in a Brief (1–3 min) or Morning Update (3–6 min) episode. Five is the number of newsletters Harkwire suggests when you sign up, so most people start here.
Unlimited: $9.99 USD a month
Unlimited is the same daily episode with no cap on newsletters. Pick it if you get more than five, counting the ones you add from the directory and any you forward to your private Harkwire address, paid newsletters included.
Pro: $39.99 USD a month
Pro is for people who read newsletters for work. It includes everything in Unlimited, plus:
- Deep Dive episodes of 6–12 minutes that cover more stories in more depth.
- A watchlist. Name up to 25 companies, people or topics. When a newsletter mentions one, that story leads your episode.
- Ask your newsletters. Ask a question and get an answer drawn only from your own newsletter archive, with the newsletter and date for every source.
- On-demand episodes. Up to 10 a month: name a topic and get a special episode built from the last 30 days of your newsletters.
- Invoices with your company name and tax ID, for expense reports.
Free trial, billing and cancelling
- Seven days free on every plan. A card is required to start the trial, and you are charged only when it ends.
- Monthly billing through Stripe, in US dollars.
- Change plans any time from your billing page. An upgrade takes effect straight away; a downgrade takes effect at the end of the current month.
- Cancel in two clicks from the billing page. No email, no retention call. Your episodes keep coming until the end of the period you paid for.
- Existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at.
Which plan should I pick?
Count the newsletters you actually want to hear. Five or fewer: Starter. More than five: Unlimited. If newsletters are part of your job and you want the important names surfaced first, answers you can source, or a briefing on a topic before a meeting, pick Pro. You can switch at any time, and the trial lets you try any plan for a week first.
Common questions
Is there a free plan?
No. Every plan has a seven-day free trial instead, so you can hear a week of real episodes before paying.
Do I need a special app?
No. Harkwire gives you a private podcast feed that works in Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Pocket Casts and most other podcast apps. It does not work in Spotify, which does not let you add a private feed.
What counts as a newsletter?
Each newsletter you add from the directory, or each sender you forward to your private Harkwire address, counts as one. On Starter, a sixth one waits until you upgrade or remove another.
Is there yearly billing?
Not yet. All plans are billed monthly.
